Barmek Azerbaijan, the operator of the energy distribution networks of Baku and Sumgayit, signed over 100,000 agreements with energy consumers, the Company told Trend. Over 80,000 of them were signed with population, other part - state enterprises, trade and commercial objects.
The Company carries out active work in regions in this regard. The representative of the Company stressed that population did not show interest in signing of agreements. The agreement imposes some liabilities on subscribers. Therefore, subscribers avoid it.
The subscribers, who do not pay for electric energy in time, will have to pay 0.01% penalty fee. For population this term comprises 10 days after the issuing of check, for other subscribers - 5 days.
